Our Services

Dog daycare is supervised off-leash play for socialized dogs.

We require regular attendance and do not offer "drop in daycare".

"Regular attendance" means weekly visits so we can develop a relationship with your pet, this is very beneficial for establishing and maintaining healthy appropriate play with  friends.   Once we have established the foundation, we may approve less frequent  visits.

Daycare is great for energetic, social dogs that enjoy playing off-leash with other dogs of similar size and play style. During play, your dog benefits physically from exercise and mentally from obedience games. Daycare is not meant to socialize a dog that is afraid or aggressive toward other dogs.

Play groups are focused on fun and the well being of your dog. Providing a safe, positive social play experience for your pet is our priority. We are committed to understanding group dog behavior and educating all our staff on safe group play management techniques. The key to safe dog daycare operations is having staff well trained in dog play behavior. Our daycare staff is trained and tested with the comprehensive and interactive training program "Knowing Dogs Staff Training Program." The Program was co-created by Robin Bennett and Susan Briggs of the Dog Gurus, industry leaders in training and safety for off- leash dog play. Each day your pup will play in 3,  45 minute play groups.   We play with toys, water and encourage  fun fair play.  In between play groups your pet will rest in one of our boarding suites.  This sets your pet up for boarding comfortably with us in the future when you need to travel without your pet.

• Daycare reduces boredom which can lead to destructive behaviors such as barking and chewing.
• Peace of mind knowing your dog is cared for and having fun when you have long days at work.

• Send us your vaccine documentation by email.  Complete a Daycare Application and a New client form and a Lodging and Daycare Contract. Return the forms by email.  Once we verify your pet has the required vaccines, we can arrange for an evaluation.   Not all dogs are good candidates for group/off-leash daycare. We offer private care services to meet the needs of dogs requiring private daycare services.

We require the following vaccines:

• Rabies every 1 to 3 years
• Dhpp every 1 to 3 years
• Bordetella (6 months or yearly)
• K-9 influenza (yearly) both injections must be completed.  (first time received, this is a two injection vaccine done two or three weeks apart)

Bordetella and the K-9 influenza must be completed a minimum of 5 days prior to boarding or daycare.

Puppies must be at least 4 months old and have completed all puppy shots prior to attending daycare (typically 12 weeks old).

All dogs must be spayed or neutered by one year of age.

Facility Design

Our facility was designed and built with your pet's needs and safety in mind. We offer large suites for both dogs and cats and our entire facility is fire sprinkled for the safety of your pet.

Dogs - Overnight Lodging

Each guest has his/her own suite with an outdoor patio.   Allowing our guests the freedom to go in and out during the day and evening, weather permitting. A self-regulated potty area can reduce stress; your pet is not forced to potty inside or wait for a staff member to take him/her out for elimination. The patio area is covered to protect from rain or direct sun. Guests are checked between 9 and 10 pm each evening and in cooler weather are closed in for the night. 

Activities are separate, you can choose different activities each day.

Your dog must be enrolled in at least one activity each day, younger dogs and energetic dogs may need two activities per day.   Puppies under a year, must be enrolled in two activities each day.

The interior sleeping area has a solid, high barrier between each guest, providing for a more natural den-like environment.   We provide blankets and a soft raised bedding platform.  In summer, the inside air is cooled and in winter, the floors are heated. We play music specifically designed to relax and calm the canine.

Walks

• Group.....a 30 minute walk, usually with two or three other
       social dogs. Your dog must walk politely on a leash.
• Private.....a 30 minute solo walk.
• Senior.....a 15 minute leisurely walk for older dogs only.

Typically puppies under two years will need a private walk.

 30 -45 minutes of off- leash group play for social dogs (must pass assessment test).

We offer small play groups, separated by size and play style. Play group staff are extensively trained in dog body language and play behaviors through a comprehensive and interactive training program from industry experts, The Dog Gurus. Our play groups are monitored by trained staff 100 % of the time. If you think your pet would enjoy group play, please complete a Group play application and bring it with you when you come to board. 

We offer private one - on - one time with staff for play, interactive puzzles,  snuggling or belly rubs. 

 Treats

• A yummy, Peanut butter or frozen yogurt stuffed Kong
• Delicious Marrow bone
• Pup ice cream in summer

Baths and Nails

Would you like to pick up a freshly bathed pet, or does you pet need a nail trim? Please ask for pricing at check in. Prices depend on size and coat.

Grooming

We provide grooming services for our daycare and boarding clients only.  

Please ask for information at the front desk. 

Please label everything.

• Please complete a check in form (located on the Forms page) and bring it with you when you check in.
• Food - We will provide food or you may bring your own. Please bring food in a Ziploc; labeled with your pets name the brand of food and the amount per meal based on standard measuring cups size. e.g. 1/2 cups two times a day.  Treats from home are permitted, we do not allow rawhides and bones from home for safety reasons.
• Toy - one toy from home  hard chew toys without stuffing please.
• Bed- We will provide a sanitized soft raised platform and a blanket for your pet.  
• Medication - If medication is required, please bring it in the original container.
• Vaccinations are required.  Please make sure we have your pets vaccine information or updates, a week before check in.

Our cattery is bright and airy.  Our feline suites are spacious with plenty of room to move around. Our cat suites are 3 feet wide by 3 feet deep and 8 feet high. We have a few condos with windows that are a few dollars more per night. Book early if you would like to reserve a window condo. We play music specifically designed to soothe the feline soul, and we provide fish for their viewing entertainment. Please view our rates page for pricing. 

As part of your daily rate, your cat will get hands - on attention every day.

If you would like to add additional activities during your cats stay with us, we offer the following enrichment services:

Individual Play

15 minutes of one - on - one time with staff. We have a variety of toys to entertain your cat or the time can be used for brushing (please bring your own brush) or quiet snuggle time while watching the fish. Let us know what your cat would enjoy.

• A check in form - this will save time at check in but we also have them in the office.
• Food - We provide wet and dry food or you are welcome to bring you own food. Please bring your food in a small Ziploc bag labeled with your pets name, the brand of food, and the daily portion (in cups). feel free to bring treats.
• Toys - one toy from home is permitted
• Bed - We provide a sanitized soft raised platform and a fluffy blanket.  Currently we are not accepting beds from home. 
• Toys- Currently we are not accepting toys from home.

Cat Vaccination Requirements

• Rabies every 1 to 3 yrs
• Feline distemper every year or per your vets recommndation.

Our office must receive your pet's vaccination records at least one week prior to your reservation. This will allow for time should your pet need a vaccine or update.

 Pets will not be boarded without current vaccinations.
